Regional Associations of Small Business Investment Companies (RASBICs)
Membership in NASBIC automatically includes membership in one of four regional associations, known as RASBICs. They are:
- NERASBIC— Northeastern Regional Association of Small Business Investment Companies
- SORASBIC— Southern Regional Association of Small Business Investment Companies
- MWRASBIC— Midwest Regional Association of Small Business Investment Companies
- WERASBIC— Western Regional Association of Small Business Investment Companies
These groups bring together licensees in each geographic region of the country. They conduct annual meetings and seminars on issues of special interest to their area while coordinating their efforts with the National Association. The opportunity for interchange with other SBIC executives at the regional level is a most valuable dividend of NASBIC membership, while helping to promote the growth of a strong and profitable SBIC industry.
